A picture of the heart

The top picture is the modern character.  Notice you can still see the image of a heart.  The next four words give some examples of how the heart is used as a picture that describes the meaning of Chinese words.

The Chinese Word Picture use a lot of the same precepts that are found in the Hebrew Word Pictures.

In the following pages we have included some of the Chinese words that use the picture of a heart. You can get an idea how many words there are, by looking at the blue words in blue beneath the word for heart. All of these words use heart as a part of the word. This is just a small sample of the Chinese words that use a heart as part of the pictorial meaning of the word.

The heart in Hebrew Word Pictures is described as, what controls the house (or the inside). This concept can be seen in the Chinese use of the heart, as well as in Scripture, Hebrew expressions and Hebrew Word Pictures.  Often the best way, sometimes the only way,  to describe a reality that involves the heart, is in picture form.

Add 3-5 Hebrew expressions that use the heart to show the common view of how the heart controls the inside, or the house.
